  3. What is the delivery lead time to my address? Not the dispatch time — the door-to-door time, including customs. A part that leaves the factory in two days but clears customs in three weeks is not a spare part during harvest.
  4. Is freight included, and how is it packed? Belts and bearings need different packaging. Confirm whether the quoted price includes shipping, duties and packing adequate for the journey — a bent coulter or a crushed screen is a total loss.
  5. What is the warranty, and what does it cover? Ask about the warranty period, whether it covers the part only or consequential damage, and whether a failed part must be returned. Get the answer before you pay, not after the part fails.
